Korea's world number 2 men's doubles pair, Jung Jae Sung and Lee Yong Dae, dismissed rumours of their withdrawal at the 2011 Li Ning BWF World Superseries Finals and asserted that they have traveled to Liuzhou to taste victory.

Jung (PC)Lee/Jung were defeated by their compatriots Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong in the men's doubles final at the Hwasun Victor Korea Open Grand Prix Gold last weekend. Jung (pictured right with his team manager and interpreter) was reportedly playing with an injury on his shoulder.

"I've actually had this injury on my shoulder for many years", clarified Jung at the pre-tournament press conference in Liuzhou, "so it's not going to affect my participation in this tournament for sure. We have come here to compete and we are here to win."

"We have been drawn in a tough group but we believe that Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng will still be our biggest opponent here, and we also believe it is possible for us to win this tournament," added Lee Yong Dae (pictured left).

LYD (PC)China's Fu Haifeng chipped in: "I think both pairs are very familiar with each others' game, and I believe the audience will enjoy every showdown between us and them (Lee and Jung). At this stage though, the outcome of any match is not as important. The real showdown will be at the Olympic Games next year."

According to the draw process regulations, the top two seeds of each discipline have been separated into each of the group.

Top seeds Cai / Fu have been drawn with Ko Sung Hyun / Yoo Yeon Seong, Chai Biao / Guo Zhendong and Hirokatsu Hashimoto / Noriyasu Hirata. While Lee / Jung have been drawn in the same group as great Danes Mathias Boe / Carsten Mogensen, Mohammad Ahsan / Bona Septano and Koo Kien Keat / Tan Boon Heong.

DrawsAccording to the competition regulations as well, two players or pairs drawn into the same group will have to take on each other in their first group match, which will shuttle off at 11am (Liuzhou time, GMT +8) tomorrow at the brand new Li Ning Stadium in the city of Liuzhou in China.
